About the Bolingbrook Arts Council
The Bolingbrook Arts Council Commission was created in 2001 to enhance the artistic and cultural aesthetics of the village while showcasing the diversity of its residents. One of the Arts Council most notable contribution to the village is the mural “Bolingbrook A Place to Grow” located in the tunnel of the Town Center. The mural combines elements of its humble beginnings to the modern day that captures the diversity of its residents.
The Arts Council has held annual street art competitions, music festivals and more recently fine art galleries.
